How much does it cost?
Monthly bookkeeping starts at $199. Your rate depends on the number of accounts and transaction volume. We review your situation and provide a flat monthly quote before any work begins.
My books are behind. Can you fix them?
Yes. Catch-up work is one of our specialties. We assess how far back things go and provide a project fee to bring everything current. Minimum project fee is $1,500.
Is there a contract?
No. We work month-to-month. You can cancel anytime if the arrangement no longer fits your needs.
How do I send you documents?
We use a secure portal for document uploads. It takes a few minutes to set up and we walk you through it during onboarding.
Do we need to meet in person?
Not required. Most clients work with us remotely. If you prefer to meet face to face, we're based in Bellingham and happy to arrange that.
Do I need QuickBooks?
Yes. We work exclusively in QuickBooks Online. If you don't have an account yet, we help you get set up and make sure you have access to your own data.
What do I need to do each month?
Your part is minimal. Connect your bank feeds and upload receipts through our portal. Maybe 15 minutes of your time. We handle the rest.
Do you handle payroll?
Yes. We process payroll, handle tax deposits, file quarterly reports, and prepare W-2s at year-end. Payroll starts at $75 per month depending on employee count.
Do you file taxes?
We don't file income taxes. We prepare clean books so your CPA has everything they need at year-end. We can handle sales tax filing if you need that.
How quickly do you respond?
Same business day. If you call or email with a question, you'll hear back before the day is over.
How soon can you start?
Usually within a few days of our first conversation. If your books need cleanup, we start there. If they're current, we move straight into monthly service.
